Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Project Pillar (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Project Pillar mobile and web applications (collectively, the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the App. This includes account information you provide (such as your name and email), the project and task information you create, and any attachments you upload (such as documents, photos, and videos). We also process limited technical information needed to operate the App, such as device push notification tokens and authentication tokens.

How We Use Information

We use your information to operate the App, authenticate you, store and display your projects and files, deliver push notifications and reminders, manage subscriptions, and maintain the security and reliability of the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat. When you purchase or restore a subscription, Apple and RevenueCat process the transaction and share subscription status (such as whether your subscription is active and when it renews) with us so we can unlock paid features. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and your payment details are handled by Apple, not by us. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate the App, including Google Cloud Platform for file storage and infrastructure, Supabase for authentication and related backend services, Apple for in-app purchases, and RevenueCat for subscription management. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us and are subject to their own privacy commitments.

How Information Is Shared

Content you create may be visible to other users you invite to a project and, where you choose to share a client view link, to anyone who has that link. Client view links are keyed by unique IDs, and anyone with the link may view the related content without an account. You are responsible for deciding who receives these links and for removing or rotating access when a link should no longer be available.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the “Delete Account” option in your profile settings. When you do so, we will delete or de-identify your account data where reasonably possible, subject to backups and legal, security, billing, and operational retention requirements. Some information may remain in records created by other users, public client views that have not been removed, or temporary device caches.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and attachments are stored so that they can only be accessed by you, other users with access to the relevant project, and clients with a valid link. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The App is not directed to children and is intended only for users who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can update much of your information within your profile settings or delete your account as described above. To make other requests, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
